An interest in automation and smart systems
I am someone who enjoys understanding how things work, especially systems that combine hardware and software. Subjects related to automation, robotics, and CAD modelling interest me the most because they allow me to visualise problems and design practical solutions. In my free time, I enjoy exploring how robotics and smart systems are applied in real-world environments.
Applying Engineering to Environmental Services
I applied for the NEA-Industry Scholarship because it offers a unique opportunity to combine education with industry exposure in the Environmental Services sector. The scholarship stood out to me as it supports both professional development and national sustainability goals. I was especially drawn to how it allows scholars to gain hands-on experience while contributing to essential services that impact the environment. After learning more about the industry roles and how engineering skills can be applied directly to environmental services, I realised I wanted a career where my technical skills could contribute to have real-world impact.
